Steve

Stephen Birdsall is a long-time Alaskan who works as an electrical contractor, ski area operator, and hotel manager. He enjoys construction and remodeling old buildings. His two most satisfying jobs have bee the construction of the chair lift at Mt. Aurora SkiLand in 1991-92 and the relocation and remodel of MAFCL in 96-97. He enjoys star-watching, aurora viewing, hunting, fishing, bird-watching and his family.

Brenda

Brenda Birdsall is a 22-year Alaskan who is a licensed Physical Therapist at the local hospital. This is a part-time position so that she can spend time with her family and help run the family business. She find enjoyment in cooking; baking for the Ski Area and helping to prepare some of the meals at the Mt. Aurora Fairbanks Creek Lodge as well. Other hobbies include outdoor activities which include hiking, biking, alpine and cross-country skiing.

Ryan

Hi, my name is Ryan. I am 23  years old and have lived in Alaska all of my life. Winter is my favorite time of year because there are more things to do. This is when I can snowmobile which is my favorite sport since I was 7 years old. I enjoy taking our guests on snowmobile tours; the longer the better. I also like to watch the aurora while enjoying my second hobby which is photography. I am proud to my first attempts of pictures of the aurora and enjoy showing them to our guests. However pictures can't begin to show what the aurora is really like when you experience it in person.

Troy

Hi, my name is Troy. I am 21 years old and was born in Alaska. I like to ski, snowboard, snowmobile, and work/play computer. I also help with the family business by giving snowmobile tours, ski and snowboard tours at the ski area, and stay up late and take Aurora photo's.  I have some on this web site.  Click here to see Aurora Photo's .   I also like to go hunting and fishing .
